Hybrid Packages – Build Your Own Coverage
If your quiz score is somewhere in the middle, or if you already know which panels worry you most, consider a hybrid package. Honestly, not every car needs full body PPF, and not every driver is satisfied stopping at the front end.
A hybrid package is exactly what it sounds like: a custom combination of coverage zones built around your specific risk profile. At PPF WRAP, we assemble hybrids constantly. Here are the most common ones we install:
- Full Front + Rocker Panels ($2,000–$2,500). The highway driver’s package. Rockers sit low to the ground and take constant abuse from road debris, gravel spray, and winter salt. If you log heavy highway miles but park in a garage, this combo covers where the damage actually happens.
Best for: Honda Civic, Toyota Camry, Subaru Outback, Mazda CX-5, Volkswagen Jetta, BMW 3 Series.
- Full Front + Doors ($2,500–$3,200). The urban driver’s package. Door edges and door faces take the beating in tight parking lots and street parking situations. If your parking situation is your main concern beyond the front end, add the doors.
Best for: Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Jeep Grand Cherokee, BMW X3, Mercedes GLC, Ford Explorer.
- Full Front + Doors + Rockers ($3,000–$4,000). The most popular hybrid we build. Covers the entire front end plus every panel that takes daily impact in real-world driving. You’re protecting roughly 90–95% of high-risk surface area at roughly half the cost of full body. For most people with a mid-to-high value vehicle and no dedicated garage, this is the practical answer.
Best for: BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6, Tesla Model 3, Lexus RX, Porsche Macan, Cadillac Escalade.
- Full Front + Rear Bumper ($2,200–$2,800). The cargo handler’s package. Rear bumpers take hidden damage from hatchback loading, parking sensors dragging bags across the surface, and parallel-parking contact. Add this if you frequently load groceries, sports equipment, or cargo.
Best for: Subaru Forester, Toyota 4Runner, Kia Telluride, Honda Pilot, Ford F-150, Volvo XC60.
One rule applies to every hybrid package – we never cut corners on film quality to make a hybrid affordable.
