The owner was still concerned about making it easy to take care of. SunTek Reaction was a good match for that. The top layer of Reaction is resistant to water and the PPF can heal itself. This is designed to resist gravel, salt, grit, bird droppings, and tree sap. Heat can make small surface marks go away. We inspected the paint, cleaned the SUV, and got each part ready. The hood received a complete film. After that, we put protective covering on the front of the car, including the bumper, fenders, headlights, mirrors, and A-pillars.
The installation was completed on the initial day. We left the X3 overnight to let the film dry. The next day, we looked around the corners and edges before picking up.
